Concept Overview:

Capacitance increases as the distance between plates decreases.
Capacitance increases when a dielectric material is involved.
Potential increases as distance between capacitor plates is increased. (see optional equipment and tasks)

Step(s) to Follow	Expected Result
Adjust movable plate by turning knob. Note changes on the LCR meter	Capacitance increases as the plates get closer together
Insert dielectric materials, one at a time into the capacitor. Note changes on the LCR meter	Capacitance will increase as the materials are added. Different materials will create a different capacitance.
