Set-up Instructions:

1. Be sure that the probe is only used on the 10x Setting to avoid damage; se the probe and tape over the switch to prevent accidentally having it on the wrong setting.

2. Beware of the additional danger of having open wires where the probes connect to the switch - do not touch

3. Connect the oscilloscope to the outlet in a way that will step down the current - The AC switch should connect to the side with more coils, and the probe to the side with less coils.  She photo below:

4. Prior to sending into lecture hall, check settings on the digital oscilloscope software to get a good image.

5. Connect computer to projector to show output on big screen.
