Equipment: vortex coin bank located in Set 9, Cabinet 2.

Procedure: This is similar to the ball in a glass funnel (M-EngMom 8). Drop a coin into the vortex coin bank and watch how the coin moves slowly at the top rim of the vortex and gradually accelerates as the diameter of the funnel decreases.
