Equipment: large heavy pendulum suspended from the ceiling located in Room 4.

Procedure: The pendulum in M-EngMom1 can be used effectively as a demonstration of the conversion of gravitational potential energy to kinetic energy, and the reverse. Since the dissipation rate is very low for this system, it can be a refinement of M-EngMom6.
